Howdy All!!!
We are here in Washington, safe and sound, and got here before all the terror alerts changed to RED. Which made things a bit easier…but now I need to leave any liquids I brought (think: contact solution, shampoo, etc) behind because the folks at the airport will be searching the luggage and carry ons, and if it looks you have liquids, they are tearing through your stuff and confiscating anything in a bottle. JOY!!!!
So, anyway…we got here yesterday, and were exhausted. Today was a leisurely day. Went out to breakfast, to my favorite grocery store (Central Market), and then I laid around and read while Porter took David to the beach to try his hand at swimming in the ocean, then they hit the community pool, to hit the slide, lazy river, rope swing, and high board. Yep, their community pool has all that and it’s indoors. I didn’t go, may have to check it out tomorrow. Unfortunately I forgot my underwater camera so I won’t be taking pictures. Maybe I will pop for a disposable underwater camera.
I’m thinking we will hold off on hitting some of the tourist sites (Pike Place Market, the Children’s museum, Space Needle, etc) until Tuesday of next week to avoid as much as the tourists as possible. I’m just having a nice time vegging out and talking with Porter. David loves being with his Uncle and David is just the excuse Porter needs to sit around and play video games! LOL! I love to watch the two of them together.

You have fun and just put your liquids in your checked luggage if you have any. Glad you made it through the first part of your trek unscathed
I’m glad you got there safe, and maybe you could have Porter mail your liquids back to you in a flat rate box? If it’s worth that to you anyways. I hope you have a great time and that you don’t have trouble in the airport getting home. OXOXOX
