I’ve been sick most of the week…feels like strep and I really need to go to the doctor…but…I don’t want too!!! I hate going to the doctor! I always have to try and fit it into my already busy schedule and I will also have to sit and wait forever because they are trying to squeeze me in during regularly scheduled appointments…UGH!
Because I have been sick, I am behind on post-processing the photos from my photo shoot last week. Out of about 300 shots taken, I’ve got it whittled down to about 75 good shots and need to determine how many "great" shots I got out of it. Isn’t Paige a little cutie. She was a riot during the shoot. She wouldn’t cooperate! But then what 18month old will? Daddy tried to bribe her with M&Ms…then we went to the park…then I let her play with the Santa hat and Christmas lights I brought as props. It was fun to just keep shooting and shooting and shooting. Here is a picture of Paige…bear in mind there is no post processing on this photo and I think I may make this one B&W with selective color on the hat and lights. We’ll see.
Porter comes tomorrow. I suspect it will be a rough day for him…it’s his and Wendy’s wedding anniversary…his first anniversary as a Widower. I still can’t believe that she is gone. Just today I stopped for a Tropical Smoothie and it reminded me that it was Wendy who introduced me to them a few years ago and I got sad. I really wish she were still here, I really would have liked to have known her better…what I knew of her I loved, but feel like there was still a lifetime’s worth more to learn. Know what I mean? I do look forward to seeing her again someday…until then…
