Bad about Blogging

I’ve been so bad about blogging lately.  Not much going on…or maybe too much going on…not sure which???  I was playing in the "studio" the other day and got some pix of the "Devil Dog" and "Do the Doo"…so I thought I would share them.
Daph

Here is Daphne, aka "Princess Pudgy Butt", aka "Devil Dog", aka "Daph-Doodle", aka "Daffodil"…she was much more cooperative than Scoob, but I had the aperture set to such a shallow depth of field her schnoz is out of focus…plus she was moving quick.  I was sitting on the floor trying to get a shot and that’s just the invitation she needs to try and get in my "flavor hole" as Porter puts it.  She is such a cute little devil!  And she rules the roost!

Doo

Then there is Mr. Scooby-Doo, aka "Scoob’, aka "Doodle-Doo", aka "Love Puppy", aka "Snuggle Bunny", aka "Do the Doo".  I love his eyes…note the eye on the left has a white membrane surrounding the eye and the eye on the right has a black one.  Doc said it was rare, but does happen.  He was much easier to shoot in that he actually listens to me.  Talk about eager to please, that would be Mr. Doo.  Nothin but a bundle of love!  He is, by far, the best dog in all of creation…and the love of my life…after Bri and David that is! LOL

I was chuckling the other night when I came to a realization.  Brian loves Daph…if he had to choose between the two dogs, no question he would choose Daph.  He always gravitates to Daph, not that he doesn’t love Scooby, he just has his personal preference.  It’s actually a running joke how Daphne gets the first kiss when he walks in the door, followed by David, then me.  Me, I gravitate to Scooby…he’s my main snuggler, I spoil him a bit more than Daph, and just love him to pieces.  The dogs, however, gravitate to David.  It was so funny to see their reaction when David came home from spending the weekend at his grandparents last weekend.  The dogs blew past me and knocked David down so they could bathe him with their tongues.  David and dogs are a riot together…the games they play crack me up and usually involve getting a toy away from one of the three of them.  When they play, it’s just best to find a quiet corner until they wear themselves out…cuz no part of the house is safe from their games.  Just as it should be! LOL.

  1. Wow…those are great photos! I wonder if you could have gotten those shots if they weren’t your dogs, you know? Their personalities really ring through. Great job!
