For Father’s Day I bought Brian a Sirius Radio. He has really enjoyed the one that came with my Dodge Caliber. Bri isn’t forced to drive my car very often, but when he does get his little mitts on it, he enjoys the satellite radio!
I can honestly say this was the first Father’s Day I have pleasantly surprised him with a gift. It was a complete and total, had no idea, surprise. Normally I pretty much suck at finding gifts for him, but this time I knew I’d hit a homerun! And tonight we finally took the little bit of time to get it hooked up. And if you’ve ever toyed with getting one of these for your car, the installation looks harder than it actually is!
So we got it all installed and Brian says, “Let’s go for a ride!” and the whole time he played with his radio with the remote. Yes, this little unit came with a remote control. He put his finger on the “channel up” and scanned channels the whole time we drove…much the way he watches television!!!! He’s happy as a clam and can’t wait to get on the road for our big trip…I suspect he will be driving me crazy with his channel flipping, but as long as he is happy, I am happy!
