I understand you were in a hurry today…we all are in a hurry these days. But, I must point out that although there is an “Express – 15 Items or Less” lane does not mandate that all those customers with less than 15 items MUST use that lane. You see, when I walked up to the check-out area, I was able to assess that I could get out of the store faster standing behind the one customer with approx. 25 items, than behind the 6 customers with less than 15 items.
I’m so glad you felt comfortable enough to express yourself, with me, a total stranger. You know, a lot of people would find your exagerated, loud whisper, about my lane choice rude! And just to prove how wrong I was you even changed lanes when I didn’t take your unsolicited advice. The funny thing was, that I still managed to get out of the store, return my cart, get into my car, and start to pull away before I saw you come out of the store.
Something for you to ponder the next time you feel the need to share your opinion with a total stranger….KARMA IS A BITCH!
