Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas

I can’t believe it’s here already!  It seems it was just Summer Vacation a week or so ago?  What is it that makes the time fly by so fast?  Is it our busy lives?  Trying to cram so much into one day that we set the globe spinning at a break-neck pace?  I think we all need to sit back and try to live more in the moment, maybe then time would slow a bit and give us more time to relish the moment.  Maybe that should be my New Year’s Revolution/Resolution??

Christmas Eve is when the family opens the majority of the gifts.  I think we were all anticipating this first Christmas without Pop to be so hard.  On some advice, Mom did try to change things up a bit so make the loss a bit easier…on the whole, we all had a good time!  Sonya and I made the majority of our gifts and they were received very well.  Sonya has true artistic talent, and me, well I know how to work photoshop and glue down pictures onto pretty papers.

David chooses to believe in Santa and Santa was good to him as were his Mom and Dad.  I was blessed in that I received a lot of the things on my wish list and managed to come up with an idea or two for Brian that seemed to please him.  As usual, David made out like a bandit and still has his birthday to look forward to on Sunday.

I didn’t take many pictures this Holiday, I was more focused on living in the moment.  Maybe I will post some of the pictures here later today.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year, Love and Blessing to all!
