OK, may I just say how nice it is to have my taxes done, getting a refund, submitted to the feds, and it’s the 19th of February!!!
This was my first time ever doing our taxes. I used Turbo Tax. They have a neat set-up where you can use it for free. You pay when you print the return or file it. So I checked it out and it was so easy!! I can easily see doing it again next year using Turbo Tax.
I’ve never tried to do our taxes. When we moved to Nevada a family member suggested an accountant and to make things easier since we were newly married, we went. Hated that accountant! The the whole family was turned onto the man we’ve used for the last 15 years. Unfortunately we found out he passed away the day of Pop’s funeral last June. So rather than try to find another accountant, I decided to give Turbo Tax a try knowing I wasn’t out any money. All the papers had to be gathered either way, so I might as well see what all the stress was about. No stress at all. After watching my Dad stress out over tax season my whole life, I really thought it would be harder.
OK, enough about my taxes…they are done!!!!
