The Hettinger County Fairgrounds had a Moto Cross “Derby” (not quite sure what to call it) on Sunday. I’d been anxious to go and play with the camera. I have not had any opportunities to push my and the camera’s limits in this kind of “fast-paced” environment. IT WAS FUN!!! My 100-400mm L lens was the only lens I took and since my BIL, Kenny and his family were running the races, I had permission to go anywhere on the track to take pictures.
My only bitch was that I had some baby 70+ SPF sunscreen on my face that didn’t make it the whole day and I got FRIED!!!! But it was worth it in my book. I guess I have to “suffer for my art”…ROFL. Here are a couple more of my favorite shots:

I take it you survived the Tornado warning?! Yikes. That must have been an experience not worth repeating. Thinking about you all the time there in Mott!!
Awesome pics!! I am glad you are enjoying the North Dakota weather-as I have always said-only in North Dakota can we have crazy weather. Thinking about you guys in Mott-we need to meet up in Bismarck or something.
