I am someone who is very happy with the way my life has turned out. I have occasionally wondered how things would have differed had I taken the “other” path when I have reached certain forks in the road. An example would be going away to college…would I have been successful? Attained the DVM designation I dreamt of as a child? Would I have crashed and burned and come home? It’s just one of those things I wonder about on occasion.
I’ve come to some other realizations this week. These realizations have answered some of those occasional thoughts. Some of the realizations have been sad, and some OK, but above all they have reinforced that the path I traveled was the “right” path then and it’s still the right path today. Again the Cosmos hits me smack upside the head and says, “See, everything works out for the best, regardless of whether you realize it or not”…don’t know why I still occasionally question it…but I do. LOL
