Meet our newest addition…Pud E Tat, as in “I taught I taw a pudetat, i deed i deed”.
David fell in love with cats at my brother-in-laws house. They have 7 and David dearly loves playing with them. He’s been begging for a cat for well over a year and we kept putting it off until we got in the house. Well, we are in the house and really couldn’t put it off any longer.
Pud, or Mr. P, came from a friend of Brian’s. Dakota had been trying to find a home for Pud for a while because his Dad is allergic and his Dad won’t come visit with a cat in the house. Brian had mentioned to Dakota that he and David were going to the shelters on Saturday to find a cat and Dakota mentioned his situation.
Brian fell in love with Pud and brought him home on Friday night. Scooby, being the laid back dog he is, got hissed at once, and decided he was giving Pud a wide berth. Daphne is still trying to cold-nose him, even after being batted in the face a couple of dozen times (can you say “stubborn”).
Pud is sweet, very vocal and cuddly, which is just what David was hoping for. Now instead of two babies competing for my attention, I now have 3, which makes life very interesting. I’ll be glad when all the critter settle into their places in the heirarchy of the house and the hissing and chasing stops. In the meantime just call me, “slightly scared in furr-ville”
